Naturally Cure Your Baby's Umbilical Granuloma with One Simple Ingredient!

First, you may be asking what is an umbilical granuloma? An umbilical granuloma is a red ball of tissue that stays on your baby's bellybutton after the umbilical cord falls off. The exact cause is not known and it does not mean that you have not taken good care of your baby’s umbilical cord.

When I first noticed that my daughter had this I started to research the different methods that could be done in order to remove the hernia. There are several different ways doctors go about this, all which freaked me out.

The following is a list of methods doctors use:

* Put a chemical on the tissue that removes it by drying it.

* Use liquid nitrogen to freeze the tissue.

* Tie the granuloma tight at the base with surgical thread. This will cause the extra tissue to die and eventually fall off.

* Use a sharp tool to cut off the extra tissue.

After reading horror story after horror story about how these procedures either didn't work, made things worse, or traumatized the baby, I then discovered a simple, safe, and natural way to remove the granuloma.

Salt!

Many success stories online state that applying salt to the granuloma several times a day will dry it up and naturally cause it to fall off. Figuring I have nothing to lose, I gave it a try.

During diaper changes, I would put a pinch of salt inside my daughter's belly button and leave it in there. Literally the next day, the granuloma was already shriveling up and turning black. By day three, it was completely gone!

I could not believe that this was such an easy fix! Completely natural, no trauma, and total success.

I want to share my story with others so that they too can avoid unnecessary surgical treatment on their precious little one. Not all umbilical granulomas fall off as quickly as my daughter’s did, as some may take up to a week. But it's just salt, so what do you have to lose? Hopefully just the granuloma!
